Design specific and efficient oligos for all major qPCR assays
Design successful SYBR® Green, TaqMan®, HRMA Primers, MethyLight TaqMan®, LNA™ spiked TaqMan®, molecular beacons for both standard and NASBA® assays, Scorpions® and FRET assays by automatically interpreting BLAST results and avoiding template structures.

TaqMan® assays are ranked according to the proprietary ranking algorithm that weighs many factors considered important for primer and probe design.

Prediction of CpG islands
Beacon Designer™ predicts CpG islands in accordance with Gardiner-Garden and Frommer guidelines.  load the sequence in Beacon Designer™ and the program will automatically predict these regions. You can also specify the CpG regions manually in a sequence. The CpG islands are displayed in green in the Sequence view tab and the regions that are rich in GC are displayed in red.

MethyLight Assay Design for DNA Methylation Profiling
MethyLight assay, a TaqMan® probes based methylation profiling technique, can be effectively used for DNA methylation profiling, measure DNA methylation or detect methylated alleles in presence of the unmethylated ones. Due to the specificity of TaqMan® based assays, it is much more accurate than the end point detection assay such as methyl specific PCR (MSP).
