Click Choose Variables to open the Choose Variables - HLM2 dialog box and
choose the ID and variables by clicking the appropriate check boxes.
Check the box include spatial dependence matrix to specify spatial dependence,
if applicable. The Spatial Dependence Specification box should only be used if
you have spatial dependence data and wish to run this kind of model.
Enter a name for the MDM file in the MDM file name box (for example, HSB.MDM).

Once the iterative procedure has converged, the output will automatically be displayed in the
format set on the Preferences dialog box.
5. Interpreting the output
The output file will automatically be displayed in the format specified via the Preference
menu. It can also be opened by selecting the View Output option from the File menu. Here is
the output produced by the Windows session described above (see example HSB1.MLM).
